Simmons gets thrifty with new office space
When Mayor Denise Simmons came into office, she decided to downsize it. Instead of using the sprawling, sun-lit space once used by former Mayor Ken Reeves, Simmons furnished a small room off to the side for herself and swapped the grandiose office for a community-wide meeting room, or what she calls a “Mayor’s Parlor.”
