Roslindale -A jealous ex-boyfriend who tried to shoot his ex-girlfriend on Walter Street in Roslindale in 2007 has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.
Cesar Rijo, 20, who lived in both Lynn and Dorchester, was found guilty in West Roxbury District Court on Wednesday of two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count each of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Tutto Italiano provides molto lira for Y’s coffers
Roslindale -Hundreds of the world’s most exotic cars in every shape and color dotted the hill at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline on Sunday. As the annual Tutto Italiano Car Show took place on the hill — organized by the Larz Anderson Auto Museum — thousands of people turned out to ogle the Ferraris and Lamborghinis, Maseratis and Alfa Romeos. At the end of the day, half of the proceeds went to the West Roxbury/Roslindale/Dedham YMCA.
