Brown to study war after-effects

Accustomed to public attention and frequent scrutiny, State House leaders were happy to share the spotlight with nearly 300 unsung heroines yesterday, women who are recognized once a year for their community activism and volunteer efforts.

The Wayland High School Building Committee met on Thursday, May 8,  to begin planning for procurement of an owner’s project manager.   The Massachusetts’s School Building Authority (MSBA) has advised Wayland to begin this process in anticipation of conducting a Feasibility Study.

The remains of the Haynes Garrison are on the west side of the Sudbury River and not in Wayland. However, the site is often visited by local students and others interested in King Philip’s War.

In a perfect world, school department officials said they would spend about a million dollars to bring the district’s computer hardware up to date.
