The owners of the Krochmal Farm piggery in Tewksbury have filed suits against the towns of Tewksbury and Wilmington.

State Rep. James R. Miceli, D-Wilmington, announced this week that grants for the Firefighting Equipment Program and the Student Awareness of Fire Education (S.A.F.E.) program have been awarded to Tewksbury and Wilmington.

The Friends of the Library’s Book Store Next Door, 183 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday mornings to help you with your New Year’s resolutions.

The Wilmington High boys basketball team improved its record to 4-1 with a 64-48 win at Ipswich last week.
